The quaint buildings are full of ingenuity and little secrets, and the beautiful, intelligent, smart and shrewd Gong sisters’ enthusiastic sharing makes people seem to have participated in many big and small events in the Gong family's history!

I like the red bricks and tiles of the old house, combined with the art exhibition, to revitalize the old house, it's pretty good, but there are some sundries inside, it may look neater if removed.

According to the history of S-shaped iron components described on page 34 of the 19th issue of "Pingtung Skills", I became curious and immediately drove to the Gongjia ancient house to see what happened. The quaint historical buildings stand in front of you, as if returning to the era a hundred years ago in an instant. I really want to know the story behind it, and I hope there will be a guided tour on the next trip.. Great!

20220212=There is a good old house in the ground. The old house is a Sanheyuan building. The center of the front yard is dedicated to the Guanyin Bodhisattva altar, and the center of the back yard is the Gong's house, which is dedicated to the ancestral temple.

2022.03.13.Sunday ■I am honored to know that Mr. Guo and other book friends are holding exhibitions here, so I quickly seized the time to come from Guanshan, Taitung to appreciate and study~ (It's worth it ^^) ■The ancient house was just restored last month. From the various cultural relics and the decoration of the window lattice and roof, I learned that someone in the Gong family had been the principal, and there have been many generations of educational talents with a long history. It is really great to set up a site to hold related activities and promote arts and culture education. So while appreciating the exhibition of calligraphy and art, I am also immersed in the beauty of this elegant house, which makes me linger. ■In the process of viewing the exhibition, I originally wondered why the ancient house could continue to be so solemn and clean, until I happened to meet an aunt who came to the ancestral hall to light incense, kneel and worship, and instantly understood that the ancestral house had not been withdrawn and was still in use.
