J	Jung Yi Wang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 里港昔稱的「阿里港」，為屏東最早開發的地方。特別的是里港福音的開始，是由一位賭徒黃深河，因為腳傷到高雄旗後得到馬雅各醫師的醫治後，因而聽見真理而誠心悔改。黃深河回到里港傳福音，當時許多人因著他的生命見證而信耶穌。隨後，由蘇格蘭宣教士李庥牧師順著河川從旗後來到「阿里港」，正式設立「阿里港基督長老教會」，成為屏東地區第一間教會。 1954年，里港長老教會的福音觸角不斷向外延伸，信徒們分別來自九塊厝、高樹、鹽埔三鄉，當時在短短兩年內，就在九如、高樹、鹽埔地區設立三間教會。 Formerly known as "Ali Port" in Ligang, it was the earliest developed place in Pingtung.
