★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are so many temples in Tungkang. I was attending the biggest event in Tungkang last Wednesday called "Ying-Wang". When I passed this temple , I was attracted by many people taking photos. Now let me share some photos that I took.
"Ying-Wang" lasts for a week being held once every three years. During "Ying-Wang", it is carried out a series of ceremonies welcoming the Heaven's Envoy and is believed to give his blessings to the town and the peoples. The "Parade" symbolizes the Heaven's Envoy patrolling around villages.
