戦後、火葬場が閉鎖された後で怪異が続出、ある時、地元の人の夢枕に三船太郎という軍人が現れ、バシー海峡で戦死した駆逐艦乗組員らを祀ってほしいということで建立された。
廟の前が広いのは、英霊たちの「訓練場」として。
During the Greater East Asia War from the Japanese colonial era, East Port was the southernmost base in Taiwan, and soldiers who died in the war were cremated here.
