★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice resort style hotel.Quiet atmosphere, but without much facility. Even the smallest rooms have a private small yard inside. Villa with big private area.They also produce chocolate with local beans in the garden.

No tub in the room (business suite), even though says so it’s Agoda page. Mentioned to receptionist as feedback and asked if it’s still in time for change or refund but instead she drew a line by telling us to bring it to Agoda.
Dinner needs to be reserved beforehand, but no one answered the phone a day or two ago (called around 7-8pm).
Came back from dinner outside with my wife and got questioned what are we doing here (I’m wondering the same thing myself. DUH) by someone looks management level.
The last night for our five days quest for potential cocoa/chocolate supplier...... oh well, I guess NOT.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is every chocolate lovers’ dream come true!! Fuwan sources their cacao from local farmers and makes their own chocolates with love.
They take good care on the fermenting, sun drying, churning and flavoring processes, and have created the local bean to bars with intense and interesting flavors!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its been 4 years since I stayed at this wonderful property. It wasn't set amidst exotic landscape or near mega theme parks. It wasn't a ultra luxurious development or with some iconic architect/ celebrity backing.
This property stood out for me with their genuine warmth and sincerity from the owner/operator and staff. They have a touching background story this property but hey... you have probably read it.
But like I mentioned, its been 4 years and I hope someone else has similar experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A brilliant experience in Fu Wan. Dinner has to be reserved beforehand or else you can buy take out from the restaurant. Comfy bed and the hot tub is real nice after a long day. Just the receptionist has to improve her attitude.
