Donggang Town, formerly known as Dongjin, is located at the estuary of Donggang River in Pingtung County, Taiwan. It was already a prosperous shipping port during the Qing Dynasty and one of the three best ports in Taiwan. There are two reasons for Donggang: one is its relative position with Xigang (now Qijin District, Kaohsiung City) and Zhonggang (now Zhongyun Port, Linyuan District, Kaohsiung City); the other is that it is located east of Gaoping River. So it is called "Donggang". Donggang Town is located on the coast of the western part of Pingtung County, Taiwan, bordering Xinyuan Township and Kanding Township in the north, Nanzhou Township in the east, Ryukyu Township in the southwest across the Taiwan Strait, and Linbian Township in the south. It is famous for the Donggang Yingwang Peace Festival held every three years. This town is the second largest town in Pingtung County and the fifth most populous township in the county. It is second only to Pingtung City, Chaozhou Town, Neipu Township, and Wandan Township. It has a population of about 47,000, mostly distributed in Xingdong and the bow are two big li.

On the Guangfu Road, which is known as the Haigang Street in Donggang Town, there is a pavilion that is very local. Its name is Donglong Pavilion. When I first took the name of this pavilion, I didn't know whether it was related to Donglong Palace, and Donglong Pavilion also had a little oriental flavor. There are two dolls sitting in front of Donglong Pavilion. The figurine still has a cup of coffee drink in his hand. The eye-catching person can see that it is a star * gram coffee, because Donglong Pavilion is next to the star * gram coffee shop. The doll's styling is based on the Donglong Palace's blueprint, the "squad leader" super cute doll and the shrewd gods sedan chair. The Donglong Pavilion archway is 6 meters high and 7 meters wide. The red lantern in the center of the pavilion has two characters in Donggang behind Dongjin. This lantern has the same effect as the Thunder lantern in front of Asakusa Temple in Tokyo, Japan, but I don't know if the idea comes from here. Foreign tourists will surely be attracted by the dolls and lanterns, and they will all come down to the pavilion to take a photo. It is really a local pavilion with a special feature. It is the location of Donglong Palace.

The 30th Taiwan Lantern Festival will be held in Pingtung Donggang from February 19 next year to March 3. There are also many innovations in this year, except that the main lamp is no longer the Chinese zodiac of the year, but the fishery representative of Donggang’s developed tuna. The fish is shaped like a fish. Zhang Xicong, deputy director of the Tourism Bureau, also confirmed that the "small town light district" adjacent to the main and auxiliary light districts is the first of its kind, ranging from the restoration of Donggang Town to the intersection of Chenggong, right in front of the golden archway of Donglong Palace. More than 1 km. 2018/10/28 is the day when the Donggang Yingwang Ping An Festival, one of the important folk cultures of the country, invites water. This local religious event has long been awaited by the local residents. Donglong Palace has grown into a century-old Yingwang.More Xinyi adopted the safe island space on the northeast side of the crossroads of Liberation and Chenggong from the town office. Wuxu Zhengke Donggang Yingying Prime Minister Xu Zhensheng donated the "Dongjin Donglong Pavilion" in a Japanese-style Kaminarimon style, 6 meters high and 7 meters wide. Below, there is a giant red lantern "Pan Lantern" hanging 3 meters high. This intersection happens to be the starting point of the "Small Town Light District". The Dongjin Donglong Pavilion combines folk culture and lantern festivals to become a new landmark in Donggang Town. In front of the pavilion, the "General Lu Li" was portrayed in the image of the miraculous sedan chair wearing a Lu Li, and the "squad leader" doll modeled on the head of the Donglong Palace, super cute dolls stationed.
