★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We liked the other restaurants we went to on Xiaoluqiu, but this one may be the best on the island. You have to like goat though to really appreciate the food and the owner. We had the dry ribs; remember "fall off the bone" is not valued in the local food, but food with some real texture is. Veggies are good. The owner will help you order the things he is most proud of. On holiday weekends you may want a reservation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family owned restaurant the specializes with lamb. The best and most interesting dish they have is bbq or air fried lamb pieces with heavy Taiwanese white pepper and spices. I never had anything exactly like that before in Taiwan or China. Kinda crispy and crunchy on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. Very good.
The other lamb dishes such lamb ginger hot pop soup broth is great too. The seafood congee was average and could probably skip that.
It was nice flavor and style to experience.
