★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 為國定三級古蹟，一旁為菜市場，所以違停的問題非常嚴重，甚至於可能造成古蹟損毀，去看的時候就違停了一堆小貨車在敬字亭旁的人行道上。
如果當地人及政府真的重視古蹟及傳統文化傳承的話，就應該要好好維護先人所留下來的古蹟，而不是因為天天都看的到就完全沒有公德心的到處違停。
敬字亭是用來焚燒字紙與祭祀之用，外觀雖類似金爐，但功能及寓意皆不用，由敬字亭可以看出客家民族對於子弟讀書及學識是非常重視的。
 The national level III monuments are set aside for the vegetable market, so the problem of illegal parking is very serious. It may even cause damage to the historical sites. When you go to see it, you have stopped a bunch of small trucks on the sidewalk beside Jingzi Pavilion.
If the local people and the government really attach importance to the heritage and traditional cultural heritage, they should take good care of the heritage left by their ancestors, instead of stopping everywhere because they can see it every day without morality.
Jingzi Pavilion is used for burning paper and sacrifice. Although its appearance is similar to that of a gold furnace, its functions and meanings are not used. It can be seen from the Jingzi Pavilion that the Hakka nationality attaches great importance to children's reading and learning.

敬字亭位置，在啟南老街的臨時菓市場旁，有時會被機車，或臨停汽車擋住，甚至被當廟宇的燒金爐而錯過，這點倒是有點可惜。
