★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 過年前後是蓮霧的盛產採收期，去墾丁旅遊，開車途經這裏，看到阿公阿嬤在分裝剛採收下來的蓮霧，便停車下來詢問。阿嬤回答：「水果都是同一顆樹摘下來的，甜度一樣，漂亮的當做送禮的1斤80元，自己家要吃的，經濟實惠的，建議買3斤100元即可」。
當地自產自銷的果農非常的務實，不會因為過路的觀光客而獅子大開口，不說二話，「價實」的我們，立馬買了5斤蓮霧在車上開始大快朵頤，旅途回程時，再買了幾斤回台北過年。真心推薦有路過的旅客，不妨試試阿公阿嬤家自種的蓮霧

The local fruit growers are very pragmatic and will not open their mouths because of the tourists passing by. Apart from other words, we who are "at a reasonable price" immediately bought 5 jin of lotus mist and started eating in the car. When the journey returns , I bought a few jin back to Taipei for the New Year. I really recommend the lotus mist grown by grandpa and grandma’s family
