廟中所祭拜的是道光十二年（1832）時因張丙事件所引發閩粵械鬥死亡的黃榮元等十七位來自恆春的福佬人。本僅以小祠供俸，直至民國六十三年（1974）始建今所見之廟宇。
農曆十月十七日迎請義士爺至地方大廟北玄宮參與年尾平安戲。

The temple worshiped was Huang Rongyuan, who was killed in a weapon fight in Fujian and Guangdong due to the Zhang Bing incident in the 12th year of Daoguang (1832), and 17 Hengchun people from Hengchun. This was only a small shrine for subsidies, until the temples we see today were built in 1974.
On October 17th of the lunar calendar, Yi Shi Ye was invited to the local temple Beixuan Temple to participate in the New Year's End Ping An Opera.
