★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably as local as it gets. It's being run by aboriginals, and it's hidden behind bushes and dirt roads near the mountains. Follow the yellow flag and you'll find them. It's an interesting experience as they have aboriginal food items and also normal stir fry items.
We had a range of items like omelette, wild boar meat, cabbage, and the chicken soup with garlic. The fish was pretty good too but pricey.
Note: they may try to upsell you items like fish and expensive stuff, but my opinion is that you'd probably come here once in your lifetime anyways, and since you're passing by the area, why not.

You have to try the soup with chicken. Their secret receipe makes the soup from good to great. But mind you that the soup has a strong taste of chinese medicine, it is good for health and can make your body warm.
