★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旅遊中心前身是閒置的海口候船室，經整修重新規劃下，結合依山傍海的天然景觀，化為一處盡收山海的藝術饗宴。參觀採網路預約，當日無法預約，要10:00後現場排隊入場。入場要脫鞋、穿襪。屏東縣政府自5月13日起在海口港看海美術館、待(呆)·風樓，同步推出日裔巴西籍藝術家Oscar Oiwa先生的知名巨型3D作品及畫作特展「眠夢-感官浮游」。
 The predecessor of the tourist center was the idle Haikou Ship Waiting Room. After renovation and re-planning, combined with the natural landscape of the mountains and the sea, it has been transformed into an artistic feast of the mountains and the sea. The visit is made by online reservation. It is not possible to make an appointment on the same day. It is necessary to queue up on site after 10:00. Take off your shoes and socks when entering. From May 13th, the Pingtung County Government will simultaneously launch a special exhibition of the famous giant 3D works and paintings of the Japanese-Brazilian artist Mr. Oscar Oiwa at the Haikou Port Kanhai Art Museum, Waiting (Staying)·Fenglou, "Sleep Dream - Sensual Floating ".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The southernmost small-town museum in Taiwan and the only one in Hengchun peninsula, has a modern design and a great view on the surrounding beach and sunset.
It's a shame that it's not utilized as much as it should be as a exhibition center or gallery, maybe only a few events each year.
Would be an awesome centerpiece for developing tourism and night life if there's more cafes, restaurants and bars as every great beach should have.
