There is the Houwan Bridge at the estuary of Houwan Creek, from which you can overlook the Marine Biology Museum in the distance. There is Houwan Beach near the estuary, which is a good place to play in the sand. Along the Back Bay viewing trail, you can walk all the way to the back door of the World Waters Pavilion of the Marine Museum. There are pits and valleys of land crabs and hermit crabs on the beach nearby.
