The government-run wetland is very important to the local ecology. The area is not large. It is about 1.5km around the lake, which is slightly smaller for tourists. The wild ginger flower is very beautiful. Currently, it is only open on Saturdays and Sundays in the non-flowering season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 不知是沒遊客還是疫情關係不開放？只能從外往內拍…從屏東到台東，199公路人車少，走南迴快一小時，這裡沒落許多！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to relax. In the middle of the park is a small lake surrounded by trail. In the lakeshore, it plants lots of wild ginger flowers. The ticket is 80 NTD per person, and it can be used as 50 NTD coupon in the cafe inside the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is an entrance fee to this park. The entrance and start of the walk doesn't seem like much but there is a lot of wildlife and flowering plants in this area if you come at the right time.
There is a section named the Mahogany Area that has a nice forest. It is very relaxing and a great place to check out. There's a small cafe and some hammocks to relax in as well. Some of the local people are from the Paiwan tribe and are quite friendly.
