旁邊公園裡還有小型親子玩水的地方，但目前沒水。
步行到水壩上方，來回約半小時路程，整段路程，樹林茂密，不太會曬到太陽。步道區周圍雜草多，蚊蟲也很多，要注意防蚊。車道區相對好走安全。
大壩景點相當壯觀，因為沒遮蔽物，風很大。
