★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 台灣最著名的搶孤活動有二，分別是在宜蘭頭城和屏東恆春。
原本搶孤用的孤棚都是儀式結束後即拆除，但因為搭拆的費用太高，所以宜蘭和屏東均試圖要保留孤棚，以減少開銷，亦可吸引遊客。
可惜宜蘭頭城多雨，孤棚難以完好，所以目前已恢復活動結束後即拆除的作法，台灣只剩屏東恆春的孤棚能隨時得見。
恆春孤棚就在恆春鎮恆北路上，雖然沒有地址，但你只要把車開到恆春鎮恆北路與恆東路交叉路口就能看到。
