Highly recommended for family trip. We had a pleasant stay during moon festival. Night market is just near the stay place. So convenient and comfortable experiences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not stay here, so can’t comment on the accommodation but stumbled on this gem for taking photos! Never knew such a cute place existed in Kenting. The rocky beach at the back was also fun to explore!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much of an activity center per se. More like a site where you can walk around to see interesting spots in the perimeter along southern edge of Taiwan. Very windy, chilly (actual temp around 70s) and rainy at the end of December/early January. Not ideal for outdoor activities this time of year. But it is still very gorgeous. There is a little cafe and bathrooms in the center plaza and seems like people can rent rooms for overnight stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although most of the compound could need some renovations, it is one of the few places in Taiwan with a unique character. Maybe, because it is not streamlined for utilising the last square meter, but has nice public spaces and some connection with the actual Taiwanese culture. If you can't stand the cheap modernist design that makes up most of today's Taiwan, then this is the right place to go.
BTW, the staff is also very friendly and I also liked the food of the restaurant (which is not a given thing for me as a European in Taiwan).

KYAC (Kenting Youth Activity Center) is a very nice place to stay since the meals are varied, the rooms are clean and the staff are kind. I stayed there on a school trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ after three years we decided to stay this time, the rooms is ok (503) a bit of insects (cockroaches, spiders, centipedes) the hot and cold water machine is in the hallway and it is a bit annoying for the people who run it. breakfast can improve or at least have another "American" occasion or just some fried eggs, bread, and coffee. Another problem is the table that divides the beds. The glass of the table has very dangerous corners to hit the hands and the head, and something very annoying is the parking: if they rent it for outsiders, you should have the areas determined for the "hotel".
