★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 民國43年已草屋搭建，民國62年建寺，早年村內夜晚無燈火，老年人無眾集之地，故村民集資建寺，使有一同念佛相聚之地，原稱為"港口東海念佛會"。本寺住持圓照法師，於民國77年9月16日晉山，改名為東海寺，初期寺內規模簡陋，後期改建成新寺，於民國101年11月3日舉行落成開光典禮。

In the early years, there was no lights in the village at night, and there was no place for the elderly to gather. ". The abbot of this temple, Master Yuanzhao, was renamed Dongshan Temple in Jinshan on September 16, 1977. The scale of the temple was simple at the beginning, and later it was converted into a new temple. The inauguration ceremony was held on November 3, 101.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 其實我們是在東海寺旁的港口社區活動中心，用餐和參加DIY課程，當地特有種黑豆製作的豆腐豆漿，還有特色料理可以吃，喜歡嘗試新鮮的朋友，絕不能錯過了，只可惜沒拍到顏色漂亮的料理，吃起來也不會太難吃。
In fact, we are at the Port Community Activity Center next to the Tokai Temple. We dine and participate in DIY courses. Tofu and soy milk made exclusively from local black beans and special dishes can be eaten. Friends who like to try fresh must not miss it. When it comes to beautifully colored dishes, it will not be too unpalatable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 佛寺很莊嚴，環境清幽，大佛及觀音菩薩都很美，住持師父超可愛又熱情，如果有時間可以喝杯茶聊聊天再走
The Buddhist temple is very solemn and the environment is quiet. The Big Buddha and Guanyin Bodhisattva are very beautiful. The abbot is super cute and enthusiastic. If you have time, you can have a cup of tea and chat before leaving.
