Best Taiwanese restaurant in Taiwan

B	Björn Schlingmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feels a bit like a tourist trap. The food was okay, but slight overpriced. Nothing close to the quality of other aboriginal restaurants I have tried.

This place seems to only be able to accommodate large groups, as the dishes are group portions and group prices. Don't go as a couple unless you want to pay a ton and fill up on a mountain of rice.
D	David Lily on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was ok, but extremely salty. The winter melon tea was too sweet. The price is quite high and likely adjusted for tourists. They add a 10% service charge, which I have only seen in high end restaurants in big cities.

I actually had that piece in my mouth too. That's a huge no no. Someone in the kitchen screwed up. And we were comped that dish and a bottle of juice only. It's a bus tour group stop, so it's a very busy spot. Would probably give it a higher review if it weren't for the finding random object in food part, because honestly that grilled fish was very delicious. But after the incident, I was put off. I hope they are more careful in the future.
