The Nine Lotus Buddha expressed his wish to travel from India to China to transform the first life of the world. At that time, he led a total of 25 disciples to spread the Fa throughout China, and finally settled down in Kaiyuan Temple. In order to express their respect and awe to the Nine Lotus Bodhisattva, all the disciples of the furnace changed the name of the "Nine Lotus Bodhisattva" to the Nine Lotus Buddha. Recorded in "History of the Ming Dynasty · Biographies 188 · Foreign Relatives" "Emperor Wanli’s biological mother, Empress Dowager Cisheng, Empress Dowager Li, (1545-March 18, 1614) Born as a court lady, after being favored by the emperor, she got a son, who was later the Emperor Wanli. Because of her humble background, the Queen Mother needed to assist her young son to preside over the political affairs. She was worried that she would lose her position as the Queen Mother, so she focused on Buddha. I once dreamed of a bodhisattva riding a phoenix and nine heads teaching her the Nine Lotus Scriptures. When the Queen Mother woke up, she could recite exactly what she had learned in her dream. The Queen Mother was called the reincarnation of the "Nine Lotus Bodhisattva". According to the "Recent History of the Sun": "In order to congratulate his mother, Emperor Wanli gave the temple the name "Zi Shou" and asked Zhang Juzheng to write an inscription on building the temple. The queen mother searched the collections and the Buddhist statues in the temples, but there were no nine lotus bodhisattvas in her dream, so the queen mother recorded the "Nine Lotus Sutra" in the collection of classics. After receiving the dream, Queen Mother Li and her son, Emperor Wanli, jointly promoted the "Faith of the Nine Lotus Buddhas." Emperor Wanli was the empress dowager. The "Ruilian Fu" was engraved on the back of the "Nine Lotus Madonna Statue" at Cishou Temple. This is the evolution of the folk belief "Nine Lotus Buddha". , "The Temple of Cisheng" on Hanyang Road, Taitung City, the area is often called Fengrong. It is the ancestral temple where the Nine Lotus Buddha descended to Taiwan. One night, he dreamed of a monk in a white robe and instigated him; he could be cured by decoction of white miscanthus at the back of his house. Mr. Zhuang took it according to his words, and he was healed like a rebirth. He remembered the grace of the gods in his dream. He asked the craftsmen to carve the golden body and enshrine it in his own house.
