★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鄭品聰是福建龍岩人，日本時代從福建來台發展，是當時所稱的華僑。後來鄭主要待在台東，通中醫，1922年在台東開德和堂中藥行，參與籌建供華僑聚會聯誼感情的中華會館（現尚存，台東縣歷史建築）。鄭後來投入離台從事抗日運動，與國民黨關係密切。戰後隨臺灣義勇隊來臺，擔兼任三民主義青年團臺灣區團花蓮港分團首任幹事長，1946年4月鄭品聰先後當選省參議員，制憲國民大會代表，也在嚴家淦的推薦下，擔任日產處理委員會委員。
Zheng Pincong was from Fujian Longyan. He came to Taiwan from Fujian in the Japanese era and was called an overseas Chinese at the time. Later, Zheng stayed mainly in Taitung, where he had access to traditional Chinese medicine. In 1922, he was in Kaidehetang Traditional Chinese Medicine in Taitung. Zheng later invested in the Anti-Japanese Movement from Taiwan and had close relations with the Kuomintang. After the war, he came to Taiwan with the Taiwan Volunteer Team and served as the first director of the Hualien Port Branch of the Taiwan Youth League of the Three People's Principles. , Member of the Nissan Processing Committee.
