都蘭山 - Taitung County

When I was 50 years old, I went for a trip back and forth for 4 hours. Both sides of the grass were very long. There were not many scenic spots along the way. I was blindfolded. 3K + 500 in front of the top of the mountain. There is a huge rock. It is easy to go up from the right side.

Entrance to Puyuma is 2.5k and then forward 1.3k for a total of 3.8k. It would take 6 hours to go back and forth with the average person’s feet before it can be considered as easy to walk as a car. A good place to train leg strength????‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️

Dulan Mountain has an elevation of 1190 meters and a first-class triangle point. It is listed as No. 93 Xiaobaiyue, Taiwan. The hiking trail is 3.8 kilometers long. There is the Puyuma altar ruins at 2.3 kilometers, which is the sacred mountain for the aborigines of Taitung.

Generally, adults without special training can reach the summit from the entrance in about three hours. Because they have been in the clouds for many years, they are often muddy and slippery.

It’s a long way from the main road down the mountain to the parking lot. It’s steep, and the brakes are sore when I go down the mountain. This sacred mountain, which has been admired for a long time but never approached, has always attracted me. I went there alone on 9/1 and set off at 14:35 (silly enough...). There is a wooden stick for love on the side, so considerate! At that time, the sun was shining brightly below the mountain, but watching the top of the mountain was filled with clouds and mist, fortunately, it became more and more scattered. There is little sunshine in the forest along the road, so the road is generally slippery, so be careful when you step. There is only one mountain road, don’t worry about taking the wrong way. The last half an hour on the way back is dark, and we return to the mountain trail at 19:15. Fortunately, we only encounter a small snake traveling. That day, the whole mountain was only for my own enjoyment (silly boy...), the path of the small intestines, although the road is not long, it is not to be careless. The road conditions are very primitive and intertwined. It is a bit hard to walk, up and down, but it is naturally interesting. It is recommended to assist with trekking poles and gloves, which are very useful. Before I left, I heard about the deeds of locusts (easy to show up in humid weather, after rain), so I actually wore stockings...ha! Because crawling can be prevented...Oh! If you have no chance to verify it, you can try it if you are interested. The triangle point on the top of the mountain is not big and there is no view to overlook, which is a pity, but this trip is a delight.
