★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 保護區位於台東市西北方30公里遠的卑南鄉境內，在利嘉林道11.45K處設置管制鐵柵欄，只供步行及單車續行。林道全長40K，貫穿大巴六九山區及保護區，因路基崩塌通行至18.5K處，重裝則可到雙鬼湖野生動植物保護區。林道原為伐木古道，在停止伐木後，11.5K前段多為檳榔園做為農事生產，後段則為野生動物棲地保護區之用。
