都蘭背包監獄（已改名為都蘭朋友家）

We liked our stay at the hostel. Place is clean and modern. They have thought of Nice details whick makes it a nice place to stay.

The bed wasn't very supportive, the bathroom could have been more convenient (the water was too small and temperature changes very quickly) No place for hand-washing your clothes. Locker wasn't handy. And at last- for all these, the price was unreasonably expensive...

Staying in prison isnt that bad. We had a great welcome from Pei in the nice and quit place. The inside is decorated well with (this time in the year)Christmas and jail theme. It is nearby the main shops in town and not far from the ocean. We enjoyed our stay!

I didn’t stay here but I tried to. They didn’t have availability but the guy working there was so nice and helpful and gave so many suggestions and tried calling other people over to help. The hostel is close to the beach. Hope to stay here one day. From the outside it gave off cool vibes. And i felt like I had to write a review because the staff is so nice and helpful

Excelent place to stay, just some meters from the beach. The hostel is very bright and clean. There is a living room and a shared kitchen in the entrance floor, 2 private rooms and a shared room in the first floor. There is only one bathroom for 10 people, which was clean, but could be crowded in some rush hours. There is a terrace in the top of the building and a wooden terrace near the kitchen. You can use the bicycles and the breakfast is included. When I was staying, the other guests were from Taiwan and 1 from Macau so may be you will not find here the typical crowd of western backpackers with music or beer as you can find in other hostels in town. Here you will find a very calm atmosphere and was exactly what I was expecting! The owner speaks perfect English and she is very kind. She can advise you in places to eat or have a drink, surfboard rentals and classes and things to do. There is plenty information about the transports in the reception too. She even let me check in before time and she changed me for another room when she had a last minute booking of 3 men for the shared room were I was staying because she taught they will snor during the night :) I had a wonderful 2 nights in this hostel and I strongly recommend it!

Good place to stay at Dulan . The sweet couple owners are very kind and welcoming . The roof top have spacious space for relaxing !

Clean rooms, we were only two guests in the dorm, so plenty of space... Nice communal area, I loved the jail theme decor. The location is perfect - some restaurants and shops just around the corner, plus bus station and beach

Great budget accommodation. Loved this place cool staff and attracted good clients. Off the beaten path enough to keep it quite but super closed to town and beach just 5mins walk if you want to go in and have a good time. Friendly atmosphere and favourite backpacker in Taiwan. Enjoy your jail stay ! You will find your friends here!
