Best Steamed bun shop in Taiwan

V	Viki ch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried bamboo bun and the pork one. Comparing to the more popular one nearby, buns here are more tender and skin is thinner. But I personally think the meat flavor is too strong. Nice dining area, very chill. Good place for car trip!

We tried all the stores in town and this was the best. We had cheese and shrimp, pork, and also a whole grain roll. Cheap and delicious!

As far as the sweet buns go, the peanut one is pretty good but I preferred the red bean and black sesame. The savory buns definitely took the cake. The kimchi, pickled veg, and vegetarian bun were delicious. If you're vegetarian though, beware, as both the pork and pickled veg baozi contain pieces of pork. Service is really straightforward: pick what you want and they give it to you.
V	Vivian S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty tasty bao and appears to be pretty popular. During the 5 minutes I was in line, several flavors kept getting sold out. I got the normal meat bun which was nicely marinated heavily with soy sauce and it was really quite good. I also tried the sesame one just for kicks, it's not really a dessert and not really savory...kinda missed the mark there. Would love to try the bamboo shoots ones if I pass by next time, wouldn't make a special trip for this though.
T	The Foodie Architect on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 2 Steam bums place called the same name. They are brothers. This one I like better. Their veggie one is great because the dough is thin and stuffings are tasty. The black sesame one is full of stuffing without too much sugar. I appreciate that. The only bad thing here is the long long line!!! Expect 15 mins wait time.
