⋯「澳啊媽」⋯^_^
據傳清朝時朝庭官員「劉進來」要到後山擔任 「通事 」ㄧ職。行前請鹿港天后官媽祖金身隨行，由埔里沿八通關古道到玉里，出安通再越過海岸山脈，經當時成廣澳路小徑達長濱，因阿美族信仰不同，由平埔族人陳珠出面，至成廣澳建廟，是最早進駐後山的媽祖聖像。
蟳廣澳是「螃蟹左右鉗子相接所圍成的海灣」天然港灣。當年成功麻荖漏事件也阿美族勇士抗日一段戰事。
現在的信徒都把媽祖當成自己的媽媽，因爲進來到廟內會讓人很放鬆很像回到家的感覺⋯^_^

It is said that during the Qing Dynasty, the court official "Liu Jinlai" wanted to go to Houshan to take up the post of "general manager". Before leaving, ask Lukang Tianhouguan Mazu to accompany him in a golden body, from Puli along the Batongguan Ancient Road to Yuli, leaving Antong and then crossing the coastal mountains, passing the then Chengguangao Road trail to Changbin. Because of the different beliefs of the Ami people, Pingpu Clan member Chen Zhu came forward and built a temple in Chengguangao. It was the first statue of Mazu to settle in Houshan.
Pan Guangao is a natural harbour "a bay surrounded by crabs with tongs on the left and right". The success of the incident that year was also a part of the Ami warrior's anti-Japanese war.
Nowadays, believers all regard Mazu as their own mother, because entering the temple makes people very relaxed, much like returning home...^_^
