★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here is a famous scenic area of Taitung county, stop by here sitted down on the beach fulls with pebble stone, and enjoy the wind flow over from the pacific ocean.
You can cross over a nine arch bridge to reach to another small island, the small island has a trail that will not cause too much strength, oso a lighthouse at the end of d trail.
So make a one or two hour stop at here then enjoy tis beauty of mother nature, if lucky u can watch d aborigines dancer singing their native song.
Worth to travel here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you enjoy hiking and heights make your way to the top of the lighthouse. The last couple of steps to the lighthouse is quite steep.
The cave is also well worth checking out. It is pitch black but the walkway is wide and safe. Either use your phone torch or hold on to the railing to stay safe.
Plenty of off the walkway climbing/walking at your own risk to make it even more interesting.
We spent a good three hours at this location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure you bring hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and unbrella during the summer, it is HOT.
This is the most eastern tip of Taiwan's main island. After crossing the 8 arch bridges, walk around the giant rock and then down the path on the back left side to the second rocky platform. At the end of the paved path there is a dirt trail that goes to the right, and leads around the hill to the sea or through a cave and also to the sea.
To really explore it might take 1.5hrs. bring water too, it's very tiring!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit. Wonderful views, good sea air, and the ocean of course. Nearby is a good sized car park, restrooms, various shops and cafes. Will be back. Please note bridge is closed for repair until July 2021.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the recommended places to visit in Taitung. This is well connected to Taitung by public transportation and it will take 2 hours bus drive from Taitung. No fees for entry and has a big space for parking. There is a restroom, a few shops with restaurants, and visitor information centers at the entrance. It is three hours long trial that starts with the opening of ocean bays and a connecting bridge between the mainland and islands. On the island, it is two hours trails and the island is made up of volcanic rocks. The trials are well maintained and cleaned. The information is in bilingual languages. Good shoes are recommended along with skin protection cream. There is a strong wind on the bridge and along the trails.
