美和教會位於「台東縣太麻里鄉美和村荒野社區」，在南迴公路西邊的丘陵上，鄰近東台灣知名的知本溫泉觀光區。台東縣第一間教會，亦是阿美族第一間教會。
The True Jesus Church, one of the Protestant Christian sects, was founded in Beijing, China in 1917, and its current international headquarters is in Los Angeles, USA. The early missionaries received the revelation of the Holy Spirit and the full gospel, and spread Christianity in all provinces of China . Thanks to its active involvement in the gospel work, the church quickly expanded to other regions in Asia and the Pacific. In the early 1960s, churches were established in North America, Europe, Oceania, Africa, Latin America, and Russia. The number of believers is about 1.5 million people in 60 countries.
Meihe Church is located in the Wilderness Community of Meihe Village, Taimali Township, Taitung County, on the hills west of the Nanhui Highway, close to the famous Chihpen Hot Spring tourist area in Eastern Taiwan. The first church in Taitung County is also the first church of the Amis.
