★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service ever!! In the contract is written "you CAN take pictures" but what the guy means is "you have to take pictures". He said that we damaged the scooter and if we cannot prove it with a picture we have to pay it! We were able to prove that we did not caused one scratch but he found a scratch which was not visible on our photos... So in the end we had to pay!!
DO NOT RENT THERE BIKES!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think that was the worst experience with a scooter renter I have had so far in my life. As we gave back the motorcycles, he told us that we were liable for a damage that happened to the scooter already before. Even though we took photos before, he made us liable for this specific damage. Definitely not recommendable, furthermore if you can't communicate in Mandarin!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GUY!
He gave us a scooter and the battery died when we tried to start it an hour later, stranding us, we called him and they pretended they couldn't hear us.
We managed to jump start it with the help of the police, went to the shop and a new kid there couldn't speak English and wouldn't give us a new one.
It wouldn't start on a further 3 more occasions, stranding us far away and causing us to miss plans and sunrises and hikes with permits etc
Called him again from different phones and the same out come, went to the shop to explain this, after wheeling the bike there for 2 hours, he couldn't start it there in front of me.
Refused to give us a new bike, or refund us, said he didn't believe me and I could have called him, a crook on all accounts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent scooters! Brand new! Good service and reasonable price, we rented for 3 days and the owner even gave a us a ride to the train station even thou it was just 3min walking distance! Totally recommend him!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a scooter here for 3 days with no problems whatsoever. Friendly English-speaking staff and we clearly went over all of the rules and liabilities beforehand. Returning the scooter was simple and took all of 2 minutes. Definitely recommend getting a scooter here so you can properly explore Taroko and the rest of this beautiful region! Thanks!

Moreover, the first time he carried out the scooter, the surface of the tires was completely flat which could be catastrophic although he did a replacement. However, this job must be done by the rental company. I do not recommend this store. For your safety, please choose others.
