★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got recommended by a local to this place and indeed a gd choice! The meat was tender and delicious. I felt this place was better than Mr Goose as the place was much cleaner and service was so much friendlier! Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good, highly recommended. The goose meat is juicy and tender, goes well with the sweet sour plum sauce and ginger. NT 150 for one serving. 麻辣猪血 has great texture, served in soup, NT 60. Choice of rice with flavored oil, noodles, bee hoon, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was recommended by the boss at the Hualien hotel. Came here every single day that I was in Hualien (a total of 3 days). My favourite was the smoked goose, it was cooked to perfection; juicy and the flavour was spot on! Loved the vegetables too but the soup base was slightly bland for both the offal and vermicelli soup. The boss was super friendly, he ran around serving customers but also stopped by to chat. He recognised me the second day that I was there! Lots of locals visit here. Had to get takeaway for the train on the last day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste is good, but the duck meat is not tender enough. I love the sausage. White rice with black sesame oil is recommended, taste and smell so good. Fair price! Try if you visit Hualian, but don't expect too much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was recommended to me by the owner of the guest house I was stayint. Went there around 7pm and there was a good amount of customers. Food was served promptly nonetheless and was more than worth the 15min walk in the rain. I had the goose intestine with chives 韭菜鵝腸 and a small bowl of goose oil rice 鵝油飯. The owner treated me to a plate of roasted peanuts which was a nice gesture. I would be back if I stayed here longer!
