★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The concept is brilliant and so cute! The cheesecake creme brulee is adorable, but there's no cohesion between the two layers: it literally was a cheesecake on top of the pudding. Honestly, it kind of felt like you took the cheesecake out of the oven too soon and the entire bottom was still wet and unbaked. I love 杜倫先生 as a character and brand, but the textures were a little... weird??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the best mochi in Hualien. We particularly love the black sugar peanut mochi, the ice cream mochi, and pork-stuffing mochi (reservation in advance needed). Staff very friendly. Most importantly, it doesn't have a second branch, so the memory of their special mochi will be forever related to Hualien the beautiful city.
