If you're not comfortable with mandarin, just point at the meat that you would like and the staff will be happy to assist you with the order. The free-flow soup is also a culinary delight all by itself. (It's free to take so help yourself)
J	Janet Amor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered pork and chicken barbecue. The pork was a bit salty but it was ok. There are vegetables included on the plate as a side dish. Cheap price. Some people complains that the side dish is cold, but I think they cannot always warm or re-heat the side dish (especially vegetables) as it will be overcooked. In other countries, side dish is really served COLD. The barbecue and the rice were hot enough for me, I don’t like getting my tongue burned. But for Taiwanese, it may not be hot enough because they like REALLY hot food. For a cheap price, don’t expect too much. Also, it’s not a restaurant. It’s actually a “convenient food shop” in Hualien, which means they don’t cook the food as you order. They are and they have already prepared different sets of meals even before you arrive.
P	Pungky Wijaya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little bit pricy, but very tasty. They offer free chicken stock soup. The restaurant has an old Taiwan vibe, and the place is pretty comfy. The owner was very kind and helpful.
