They charged us nearly double what we could have gotten at other places for a bike that was not as powerful. They have special deals with other hotels and b&b to send their tourists here — they are very nice but be warned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very trustworthy electric scooter rental company in Hualien. Got my hands on their higher end scooter and it has enough range to go from Hualien city to Taroko, and back to Hualien on a single charge, plus taking some detours along the way.
Had a minor mishap as a faulty battery caused my scooter to run out of battery along the way, but the boss was very quick to respond and sent a technician to replace the faulty battery with new ones within 20mins. They also extended the time to return the scooter to make up for the time lost waiting for the battery replacement, without even needing me to ask.
The rental price is definitely on the high side, but you'll be paying for the reliability and service. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent, friendy and warm service. Value for money for their well maintained scooters. Remember to get the higher end scooter if you really want to go further or if you are ferrying a partner. Ride safe, follow rules and respect others on the Hualien road! :)
