★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A less popular place with fewer visitors sometimes gives you better views and unexpected tranquillity. This is a pebble beach at the foot of Qingshui Cliff, as well as a good spot to wait and see the Sunrise (in summer) despite the disturbing noise from bloody local Kayak business and tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a clean beach but it is not powder sand - it is gravel- further I was told by locals that the Taiwan Coast Guard will arrest persons swimming. On the other hand you may rent kayaks and paddle boards to use a mere 1 minute walk from the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Public transportation is available. Take train to the chongde station and walk for a while to the beach. Or you can drive. Some parking areas are available.
No entrance fee.
Standing at the beach, you can see the grandiose cliff at left side and the alluvial of Liwu river at right side. A very special spot to observe different types of landscapes. By the way, the color of the ocean beneath the cliff is very beautiful. It’s in a light color of blue.
The sight of Chongde beach is underestimated. It’s not a common spot for tourists. So it is nice to have a casual walk along the coast. It’s not sandy beach but small to big gravel beach. Cozy to walk on it without get dirty.
Some beach’s activities like motor riding on the beach can be observe. But swimming is not recommended due to strong wind and waves. Keep safe from the ocean.
Nice place for taking rest after a long drive on the highway.
