★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mysterious weird place. Dirty waves, messy beach. Trashed everywhere. There are lots of tents nearby, don’t know who lives there ( fisher man?) and lots of ritual things related to Tao religion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A rather quiet and serene spot that overlooks the great expanse of the sea. A place to be if you want to stay away from the crowds at Qixingtan and need some quiet reflection time.
It is rather inaccesible though, but a recommended way would be to rent a scooter from Hualien station to get you here, and thereafter travel south along the East Coast scenic area in the scooter and enjoy the really calming ride along the coast.
