The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with directions and advice. The place itself a slice of peace and serenity.

If you're looking for a quiet home stay experience, this is the place. It's nestled up a mountain, that takes a 10 minute drive up a narrow and curvy gravel road to get to. Once you get up there, you'll be completely removed from the outside world. There's no TV, no Internet, and very poor cell reception. The 2 ladies that hosted us were super nice, and they keep the place pretty clean. You hear the sounds of crickets and frogs and absolutely NO CARS NOR TRAFFIC noise whatsoever. If you decide to go there, make sure you bring some snack foods. They give you a decent breakfast, but their dinners are a rip off and aren't that tasty to boot. Not much to eat around town neither, so prepare to take a 45 min drive North to Hualien if you want a decent meal.

It’s a cozy place and provides fresh air, serenity and amazing view that are hard to find in a city. Host and managers are friendly and you can tell they put a lot of efforts in maintaining this place. I’ll definitely come and visit again.

This is probably one of the best mingsu that you can possibly find in Hualien. Although it's up in the mountains and hard to get to, once you've found it, you'll be able to thoroughly enjoy the entire unique bed and breakfast experience. The owner Ah Da 蔡异达 is a renowned music producer and lyricist for aboriginal Taiwanese music, which is super interesting. We spent quite a bit of time talking about his experience, and ended up being around a campfire that evening talking about more stories. The dinners and breakfast that they prepare is also unique across days, as that's their promise to whoever stays - no repeating of meals. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the outdoor bathtub is an interesting twist to the experience. At night, if the clouds permit, you get an unobstructed view of the stars and milky way, and in the day you have very nice sunrise. Superbly photo worthy.

We went as a group of 13 and had the whole place to ourselves for the weekend! It was a beautiful experience and the breakfast was AWESOME! I think when you stay there, you are there for the place, enjoy the nature and being in the moment. We absolutely love the patio. We did yoga in the morning and brought wine and snacks to star gaze at night, all on the patio. One advice for visitors, definitely don’t arrive after sundown. We got there after 9pm and the drive was soooo scary.
