阿公店水庫是滯洪池的功能 所以水庫儲存量不多 兼具灌溉所需 也是第七河川局所在地 也有全台灣最長的壩堤 約3~4謙公尺 是鄰近居民一大早慢跑 運動的地方 水庫中築有兩座吊橋 及環水庫自行車道 假日時會吸引許多騎自行車的愛好者前來
區內 有許多廟宇 堤供參拜 也有練歌的卡拉OK 興致來可高歌一曲 但無飲食設施 適合假日來此散心等休閒活動
Kaohsiung Agongdian Reservoir is located in Yanchao District, adjacent to Tianliao District and Dagangshan Scenic Area. It is surrounded by bad terrain and geology, but it is still rich in fruits such as dates, guava, lychee, red dragon fruit, mango, and longan. It is hard to imagine that many fruits can be grown in this bad land.
The Agongdian Reservoir is the function of a detention pond, so there is not much storage in the reservoir and it is needed for irrigation. It is also the location of the Seventh River Bureau. It also has the longest dam in Taiwan. It is about 3 to 4 meters in length. Zhongzhu has two suspension bridges and a bicycle path around the reservoir, which will attract many cyclists during holidays.
There are many temples in the area. There is also a karaoke for practicing songs. There are no food and beverage facilities. It is suitable for leisure activities such as relaxing on holidays.
