★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pretty place to hang out at on the weekend. It's not too far from the city so an easy getaway. The selection of food is limited inside to either relatively cheap junk food or a super expensive healthier choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very mediocre and there’s nothing special. The only good thing is that it’s pretty big. The restaurant and the gift shop don’t have a lot of selections. (Not to mention that they are kind of crappy) but in generally it’s acceptable, clean and it was nice to have a walk there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for kids to run able. Very huge with a full track coin operated train, some outdoor play ground for the kids to run around. Had the park to ourselves when we went on a weekday. It's on the outskirts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here for a corporate family day event. This is great place in nice weather for kids and family to picnic, play outdoor games and generally just hang out to relax. Opens at 9am and has food options, DIY, water fountains and is also good for wheelchair accessible play area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has the potential to be an amazing place, but sadly it’s very run down and needs a good tidy up. The gardens and flowers are well maintained and clearly the pride and joy of the place.
It seems there’s lots for children to do and play on, however lots of the areas were closed off or not working. Quite disappointing after a long drive to get to.
It may be ‘out of season’ when we visited hence some things closed and out of use. There weren’t many other people there either so there wasn’t really much of an atmosphere.
We took a picnic as previous reviews on the food in the restaurant weren’t that good. There’s plenty of benches etc to stop for a picnic. Overall a pleasant place.
