Excellent value for events. Polite staff. Nice accommodations. Also very good place for dinner parties. This is a Kaohsiung landmark.

One day after new years no parking spots in the connected structure. Had to park a few blocks away and take a shuttle to get to the hotels. Rooms are cramped. Facilities close early at 8pm. Tried to use them the following day and was unacceptable unless you add an additional charge, I already added an additional 550nt just to stay on the weekend and no pool access in the winter. Breakfast buffet spread is pretty weak for a big brand hotel that exists all over the island, saw a group have their table cleaned up and given to another multiple times. Kids can easily be smacked and injured by inward swing doors, so watch out! Besides location convenience which is nowhere near an mrt stop btw, would look for other options. Expect to walk a lot.

The oldest five star hotel in Kaohsiung. Food is excellent.

One of the best hotels in kaoshiung. Best river front view from the hotel and is in center of the city very close to malls lake and restaurent.

Location is excellent (at Love River), very clean, room view is great, breakfast is excellent (buffet), staff are very nice, everything is excellent, I will stay here every time I go to Kaohsiung (in fact this is my third time in this hotel)

The facility and staff are mostly 5-star. However, Canton court is first rate (although the reception at the door is lukewarm at best), but the semi buffet and breakfast at iRiver is not worth the money. Wifi in room comes and goes, especially in the morning when internet connection breaks off frequently. Also, some ingredient in the body cream give both my wife and me an itchy skin reaction, and I never had skin reaction from any lotion before. Suggest better change the body cream. The worst of all, there is a smoking area just outside the hotel door with cigarette bin, where people would often congregate and smoke without masks on which is required by law during the pandemic. I asked the doorman and he said, "it's ok since it's outdoor". But at times like check-in time when there are lots of people coming in and out of the hotel, they leaves the double doors open and the lobby air smells cigarette smoke. For a 5-star hotel, really? A small convenience store is better than that.

Pro: friendly staff, lovely receptionist ( the girl with a great smile), room is comfortable and with a beautiful view. Cons: breakfast is ok but not much choice and not really delicious dishes. Then Mattress is soft for me… I feel like it is too old and lost the anatomical. properties. Moreover I felt room was not deeply clean… some dust near window, old bathroom…For these reasons I give 3 stars but I’m sure that it could be only my feeling and for others it can be a 5 stars.
