Seems more like bistro but the chef knows how to prepare home-made Italian dishes ;) Been there twice for pizza and lasagna and would return when we will be in Taipei next time... everybody was so nice and welcoming...had a great chat with the chef about his time in New Jersey :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an all-around really good pizza. It had lots of cheese, gooey and delicious. I wouldn’t have changed anything about the sauce or crust either. I ordered the 8 inch pepperoni personal pie. At first it looked a little on the small side but it was just right. And it was very reasonably priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sign advertises "The Best Pizza in Town" and Amore doesn't disappoint. To be clear, they offer both a New York style and a Sicilian style pie and it is the latter that really steals the show here. The pasta and appetizers are also thoroughly recommendable- personally, I am partial to any of their dishes that incorporate the homemade sausage : )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best thing is the portion they give you, it's definitely American size. I got a 12" combo pizza. The cheese and the toppings I felt were extremely undercooked. There was a lot of toppings but not in the good way when it's not cooked all the way through. It was literally a cup of onions and bell peppers on the pizza and there was just too much liquid sitting on the pizza. With too much of the veggie toppings sitting right in the middle of the pizza, it really ruined the pizza. It had a great crust but it fell flat due to the veggies and undercooking as well as being way too bland. If you got a hankering for some good ole mom and pop American pizza, it's not a bad place but ask them to cook the pizza longer if possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing pizza, great selection. The boss is a fun gruff personality. Definitely knows his craft. The dough is top notch and plenty of other selections besides just tradition pizza….try the calzones! Off the main strip great back alley find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing pizza!!! The owner is trained and definitely knows how to make good pizza. He lived and trained in New York and Italy, which are the most famous places in the world for their pizzas. So if felt nice to get a taste of authentic pizza. I even got the honor to meet him and he was super nice!!! He even helped me set the pizza box properly on my bike so the cheese wouldn’t spill. Thank you so much ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The umami in tomato ,onion, anchovies and cheese is right here as a textbook example. Crusty side and melted cheese are forming under the perfect temperature. I’m struggling just typing this words while recalling the heavenly touch of my taste buds and soul.
There is a decorative article on the wall of the diner says that pizza can lower the chance people get cancers. I don’t care about such a secular need at all since I was in rapture.
