Kids loved it. $150 per person entry fee. Get a voucher to use toward food purchases. Very busy on weekends. Expect to wait about 10 minutes to park if near meal times. Goats, pigs, chickens, ruffed grouse, and fish. Lots of DIY stuff and good food.

This is a great place for children and adults alike. During daytime children can enjoy the slide and playing at various other places, such as with balls or bricks. They can try building sand castle, or just enjoy the water. Animals are also a big plus over here, and they seem to be clean. For couples there is a nighttime decoration by using lights. During weekdays it's only 50NT and the ticket can be used to pay for your drink. The only disadvantage is the huge amount of mosquitos there.

A huge place for kids to play around. There are plants, animals, slides, etc. They also have restaurant and coffee shop if you are hungry or thirsty.

We had a great experience here! It costs 50 NT to get in, but they give you a 50 NT voucher to spend inside when you "buy your ticket." So basically, they are just ensuring that everyone spends 50 NT there. You can spend this voucher at their cafe (a little expensive, but a fairly normal price range for cafe food) or their gift shop (which sells plants and little toys you can use there like bubbles, sand and water toys, balls etc). The layout is really thoughtful if you have young kids. There's lots of shade, lots of places to wash hands, at least two sets of bathrooms. There's a grassy area, a cafe, a BBQ area, a garden, fish ponds, a few animals, a wading pool with an old fashioned pump to play with, three sand boxes, an air conditioned ball pit, a block room, arcade games, a playground with slides, and a few other fun things. We spent 3 hours there pretty happily. It would make a good kindergarten field trip also. I will definitely be going back!

Fun morning for the kids. Very few animals (you are allowed to pet a few frogs, goats, a single pig and see some birds in cages). A nice play area with lots of activities to keep young (kindergarten) kids busy viz. Puzzles, slides, Sands Pits and a small pond to play in. Less than 30 minutes from central Taichung by car.

This is one of my favorite parks/venues in Taichung to spend a few hours of relaxing and enjoying nature, greenery, and peace. During the weekdays, for NT100 per person, you can walk through the front area and enjoy exotic birds and hanging flowers, then walk along the path bordering a fantastic vegetable and fruit garden featuring banana, guava, and mango trees, pepper, taro, eggplant, greens, and other plants, and then either play in the sand (if you are younger then 10 or so) or splash around the modified creek bed and play with the two water pumps delivering well water and wet clothes. There is also an area with a huge and ancient turtle, some rabbits and ducks, and another enclosure with several goats. This slice of heaven is of course mostly enjoyed by and with children but anyone appreciating nature will have a fabulous time.
