A really wonderful Korean BBQ joint. The quality of the beef is great, pork is nice. And what was unexpected was the cheese and egg you can get in separate voids on the BBQ. Cheese and Korean is new to me, but it went great with the pork. OK, so the food is great. Also important is they have the vacuum vents above so you do not leave smelly. And we never once has to ask for service. They were busy, yet a waiter/waitress was always there at the right time to flip or cut our meat. Great food, nice set up, wonderful staff ... give it a go!! Also, on the weekends - make a reservation, as it is popular and rather small.

The owner is very friendly, and there is table-side service whenever you order the Korean barbecue. However, the food isn't that special at all. The barbecued pork belly, even after being dipped into the sauces, is rather bland since the meats are not marinated for long enough (or not marinated at all) before cooking. The Budae Jjigae, a Korean hotpot with multiple ingredients and instant noodles, tastes quiet average. The reservations are especially hard to make, and given the prices, I'll probably not visit again.

I lovvveeee this place. Everything is fresh and delicious but call at least 2 days in advance it's always booked.

Korean BBQ with cheese dip yummy! Staffs and owners are all super friendly. Be sure to make reservation before you go, it is a busy busy place.

Definitely a great experience! The food is very good and the environment and the service are excellent. The seafood pancake was incredible. I also had a dish labeled "cheese pork ribs" or Korean code for BBQ short ribs :-). Skip the cheese and the fries that come with it and just enjoy the BBQ ribs - perfectly slow cooked, juicy, and falling off the bone. For a native Texan to give thumbs up to ribs in Taipei at a Korean restaraunt should be a good indicator of the quality!

Great food, boss is very friendly. Must order the steak. All side dishes are all you can eat, and they are all delicious, amazing.

Visiting from America and saw the reviews were good so we decided to give this place a shot. Glad we did because everything was fantastic! We said it was our first time dining there and we were advised what the popular dishes were and what quantity of food to order. Luckily we listened because we would have definitely ordered too much. The lady boss was very accommodating and we had some pleasant conversations with her as she brought our food out and cooked it for us. The meat and fried chicken were great, and they had plenty of complimentary side dishes. We never had KBBQ with cheese sauce before and we all loved it. The seafood pancake was the best I've had as well. Nice atmosphere, seating and utensils - they brought out aprons for our party members who were sitting closest to the grill to prevent oil splashes and had a vacuum/air vent over the grill that pulled down from the ceiling. Even my 90-year old grandma who is a local was impressed and says she will return in the future. We had a great time and I would highly recommend checking Annyeong out!

Many people are waiting in line in front of this restaurant at dinner time.It is famous in recent years. We order Army base stew and Korean BBQ. The hostess is very kind and explaining how to deal barbecue. After grilling ,pork can be tasty with vegetable. This food is really good!
