★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very traditional market with delicious food traditional gifts and really everything you might search for. Worth to visit if you are in Tainan. Look for the best beef soup in town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s nice place for slow walk. Many local taste to try out. Salted ice cream, pickles, prawn crackers and so on. But one thing i like most was the oden. Sort of tempura with eggs. Best go with pepper and salt

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This old street like night market when nights come. It's quite big but less people (may be raining when I visited). Many restaurants, temple, near tourist attraction. One of must visit old street at taiwan specially at tainan.

Can also try the twisted ice-cream. The Anping Castle is nearby too. Worth a visit. You can buy a pass to visit a few tourist attractions within the city...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many old houses in a non-too-large village, but they are not totally organized well. Some of the old houses, which you would wanna see, are located deep in the area, bordering with new houses (!?). Totally, It's worth a visit but you better not expect very much.
