Bought a very nice and inexpensive mechanical keyboard with MX Cherry Blue switches. The most complete physical custom keyboard store I've found in Taipei since falling into this rabbit hole. The sales person didn't seem that interested in taking my $$$ and didn't upsell anything. She even discouraged me from having them customize the keyboard lights. This may or may not be a positive for you.

Not the only mech keyboard shop in Taiwan but certainly one that's more dedicated to the hobby. Shop carries a wide range of consumer boards and a lot of Asian manufactured keycaps, but lacks inventory on some of the more foreign and imported stuff like SA profiles, topre, hhkb, and the likes. They carry a good stock of Filco and Leopold boards. The meta crowd in Taiwan seems to favor 100% longboards over smaller profile ones so you'll find only a limited amount of stock for those. I've purchased a rosewood wrist rest from the shop 2 months after visiting for the first time. The shop owner Tina was pretty helpful through the whole exchange, and having them mail over my purchases was painless and rather easy. The wrist rests particularly are manufactured in Taiwan, would suggest other keeb fans pick one up (along with some Tai Hao keycaps) as they seem to be of higher quality compared to kbd and drop stuff. Awesome keyboard store that carries a lot of lesser-known local brands with great prices. Staff is super friendly and selection is great! A must visit for any keyboard enthusiast in Taipei.

Great service, you can really tell the passion of the people who work here. They are patient and are willing to explain everything in great detail. Definitely recommend coming here to anyone who is interested in keyboards!

If you like Mechanical Keyboards, you must visit this shop. I visited Armygroup because I was curious about mechanical keyboards. I wanted to understand why people spend so much on these devices. After visiting Armygroup, I understand why someone would want to buy one (or several) of these keyboards. Tina let me try out some demo boards and unboxed some others for me. The keyboards are as good as everyone says they are. If you do a lot of writing, coding, or gaming, you should get one. It's worth it. Visit Armygroup to figure out which keyboard works for you. I looked at several keyboard places in the Guanghua area. Most of them were good, but this one is the best. It's a little hard to find. People who are skilled at finding upstairs Taiwanese shops will have no problem. Visitors from other countries may have more trouble. To find the shop, you have to enter the foyer of an office building and take the stairs to the left to the second floor. Fortunately, Google Maps does a good job getting you to the foyer. Cash only.

This shop has excellent service, they also has rare keyboards. Recommended shop! (This shop is on 2nd floor, the building is right on the intersection of the street)

If you're a mechanical keyboard enthusiast there is one shop you must visit which is close to the Guanghua computer market area, and that's Army group where Tina will help you with everything you could need regarding mechanical keyboards. Not only is she the boss but a professional build expert. Furthermore the pricing on custom builds here is very attractive. The showroom is not big enough to hold the vast array of parts that they have although its big enough to be the best consumer-oriented keyboard shops in Taiwan. Note, that this store is located on the second floor of said address, take the elevator up.

wonderful wonderful experience. i wish i could give them 6 stars, but i suspect i'll just give them more of my money instead. I arrived at their store after work on a monday, less than an hour before they closed. the staff were tending to another customer, so i took my time looking at a few of the MANY demo keyboards out on display. after the staff were finished, they recognized me from our correspondence on shopee. she brought out a few of the boards that i was considering and let me try them to get a sense of how they compared. even though it was late on a monday, i felt cared for and wasn't rushed. i came in looking for a 60% alps thing, ended up leaving with a TKL alps thing (never had a TKL before) but the Matias Clicky switches are just too good. it was an extremely pleasurable experience and i fully expect to get more keyboards from them in the future. BRING CASH! :)
