★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent authentic sesame oil chicken, if you like sesame oil cooking, this is pretty close to the best you can find. I enjoyed all the food I ordered which are sesame oil chicken soup with rice noodle and pork blood cake. The place is quite clean and neat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is pretty good. You can certainly enjoy the traditional sesame oil chicken and the dishes around it. However, service is slow whether or not you're a sit-in or take-out customer. It's quite baffling because these small restaurants tend to have quick service with people come and go. Considering it's just opened, hope things can improve some how. Very crowded during meal time, especially in winter.

Sesame Oil Chicken is a common Taiwanese dish made with ginger, rice wine, and sesame oil.
The thing I like about this restaurant is that they have varieties other than chicken. I usually order pork with noodle.
• The noodle (rice vermicelli) is made with rice and flour.
• Their "rice" tastes awful, but I recommend noodle.
• The quality of their soup seems unstable: Sometimes it's really heavy in alcohol, but sometimes you don't feel it at all.

The menu provides various sesame oil dishes and other milder selections, which I really appreciate. I had the iconic sesame oil chicken and noodle, it was tasty as expected. I recommend here to tourists seeking authentic Taiwanese cuisines other than soup dumplings and mango shaved ice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cashier’s attitude was pretty poor. Didn’t get a thank you or anything upon payment. The AC is not cool, got pretty hot. The rice noodles are soft and tender but the 麻油 flavor was missing, or it didn’t seem to blend into the noodles. The 米血糕 was very soft but the sauce didn’t taste good. Just an OK place to dine at if you’re looking to grab some food solo.
