★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Defacto embassy since Taiwan is not a country according to the world. So this is the Office. On the whole not very good service and probably a waste of time to visit but if it your last resort give it a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Appointments are a must! I called in advance to get our driver's licence certified, was informed to bring an Australian credit card for payment, was not informed to make an appointment. We travelled from Kaohsiung and only had two hours window for this. We were lucky to get an appointment in time, otherwise it would be a waste of time and effort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first time I ever needed to visit an Australian Office whilst away from Australia. The security was tight as you might expect; but the service provided was friendly and efficient. No unnecessary frills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Appointments need to be made in advance for passport renewal. Entering through the 1st floor can be confusing but the security are helpful and will guide you with what to do.
