★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very windy. A lookout point with unobstructed view of the sea. Nice place for picnic. Basketball court & a children’s playground on site. Will be good if there are more trees or pavilions to provide much needed shade in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can take the 301 bus from Keelung downtown until the last stop then you’ll have to walk up hill for around 10 minutes. Baimiweng fort offers amazing views, from one side you can admire the ocean and from the other, the busy port of Keelung. It was a strategic place to protect the city from invaders. It’s a great photo spot. There’s a playground nearby where kids can have fun.

Before walking towards it, you will pass a "Dutch City", which presents the history of Keelung 300 years ago with the blood and tears of Taiwanese. Aside from the discussion of history, it is a very beautiful scenery site here, how attractive as you can see from my photos. So it is recommended that you must come at least once in your life. Come here, act now, you won’t regret it. The transportation to come here is very convenient, and there are many attractionsplaces nearby. Those who like walking exercise can also walk the paths along the two light houses.
