★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, I highly recommend you to do not visit this place when weather it’s rainy or so bad. You must rent a bicycle once you visit Bali. When weather is awesome. The view of the Bali old street is so beautiful and nostalgic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a ferry from Tamsui to get here, then I realised you can actually rent a bike at Tamsui and bring it on the ferry. Anyway, it's a really nice place for you to ride a bike along the river. There are plenty of restaurants and food stalls so don't worry about getting starved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for a nice bicycle ride and enjoy a scenic view then Bali Old Street is a place you're looking for. You can rent Bicycles from normal bicycles to 2 person bikes and to 4 person bikes, motorized version too if you are lazy to cycle. Some areas are really tough to cycle as there's slopes so be cautious, motorized bikes won't be a problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place with several street food shops, entertainment for children and nice views. There is a lot of people taking the sun when the weather is good so it can be overcrowded sometimes. You can rent bicycles to drive through the promenade. There are many restaurants also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whenever you visit Tamsui 淡水區 be sure to visit Bali District 八里區 via boat. The view is spectacular. As soon as you got off the boat, you'll face the old street with some snacks and restaurants. Here my favorite is their oyster egg ($50), very juicy and worth the price since it's so big. Don't forget to take plenty of pictures and enjoy the view !
