Local restaurant with tasty beef noodle. Price is much higher than the average one but reasonable.

One of the best beef noodles (牛肉麵) I have ever had in Taiwan! After trying all those famous brands with so many tourists (e.g 永康), I finally found my favourite beef noodle in Taiwan! In a tiny shop run by a small family, what you can taste from their beef noodles is warmth and love (人情味 in Chinese). This is definitely a gem and that their soup base doesn’t contain MSG for sure! And what’s even better is that their price! It was so cheap that I regret I did not have another bowl! A must visit if you want to have a tasty beef noodle that is made with heart and dedication! Bravo!

Beef noodle is really good, meat really tender

Large chunks of beef in the beef noodle, noodles are the thin type, but rather tangy. Noodles are much better than the dumplings. ~~Meipu~~

My new favorite beef noodles in Taipei ? The taste of broth wins my heart right after the first sip, besides beef, it has the sweetness from tomato and radish. Beef shank is big and tender scented with nice soy marinate, beef tendon is tender and flavorful too! Overall this is an excellent beef noodles, would like to come back for sure.

Very local beef noodle joint but the beef is much more tender and thicker than the typical places. The broth is light and delicious and has a different flavor than others. Highly recommend a try.

The soup is quite light in flavour. They put a sign outside saying that they don't use MSG and some other "beef powders". I didn't see anything about not adding salt....? The noodles are cooked perfectly. They give you a lot of meat. however the price it not cheap. I had half meat half tendon. The price is 239 NDT. The tendons were cooked perfectly and had good flavour. I wa surprised about their tofu side dish. Is was a bit dry and remined me about tofu in Vietnam. So far the tofu has been great in Taiwan but this was subpar. They also have a sign at each table saying that of you write a Google review, you'll get a side dish for free. I didn't take advantage of this deal. The chef/owner was smoking just outside a side door that was open. Some people might think this is a not a big deal but I find cigarette smoke very unpleasant and you could smell it clearly by my table. The smoking and tofu made me give a 3 star review in this case. I respect if people want to eat a lighter type of soup but it was not just that it lacked salt, it didn't have much depth and beefy flavour. Hope they can improve their tofu and smoke where customers don't see them and smell the smoke to their table. Thanks
