★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic little gem of a bar in Magong, Bang Bang has verve and artistic charm you won't find anywhere else in town. Serving beer and a variety of unique cocktails, as well as a boasting a menu of gourmet food (book ahead) it's a great night out, particularly if there's live music.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DOES NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS THROUGH GOOGLE! We found this place on Google when we first got to Penghu and made reservations for our last night’s dinner here through Google. The night of our reservation we showed up and the whole place was dark. Called the phone number and they are closed Wednesdays and don’t accept reservations through Google. So disappointing! I went from being so excited for dinner to just being so excited to leave Penghu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made a reservation for 16 people to celebrate a friend's birthday.
We were surprised to find that the owner was the only person in the kitchen and hence we waited ages for the food. To make matters worse the cake was frozen!
While the taste of the food was not bad, I felt that the owner should ensure that she was adequately staffed before accepting such a big reservation. For the price we paid, it was not worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited early in 2021. I’ve been to Penghu many times, but this was my first visit here. Both the food and the drinks were excellent, the staff were very attentive, and to top it off the chef ran after us as we were leaving to make sure everything was ok. Fantastic!!
